OnePlus, one of the successful names in the smartphone market, continues to expand its product lineup. The Chinese brand is now preparing to introduce the OnePlus 13R model. The launch date of the device, whose technical specifications were previously leaked, has now been revealed.
When will the OnePlus 13R be introduced?
OnePlus recently shared a promotional poster, announcing that the OnePlus 13R and OnePlus 13 will be unveiled globally on January 7. This clears up any uncertainties regarding the launch date of these smartphones.
Looking at past leaks, it can be said that the OnePlus 13R will feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1264×2780 pixels and a 120 Hz refresh rate.
The OnePlus 13R will reportedly be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Built on the 4nm architecture, the processor consists of 1x 3.3 GHz ARM Cortex-X4, 2x 3.0 GHz ARM Cortex-A720, 3x 3.2 GHz ARM Cortex-A720, and 2x 2.3 GHz ARM Cortex-A520 cores, paired with an Adreno GPU.
Although not officially confirmed, the OnePlus 13R is expected to be a global adaptation of the OnePlus Ace 5, which will be introduced in China in the coming weeks. This strategy is quite common among Chinese manufacturers. While the names and designs of the two models may differ, their technical specifications are likely to be largely identical.
